We just finished looking through all the photos, and they are more than we could have ever hoped for!

We are beyond grateful for the calm and organized presence you brought to our wedding day. You made everything feel so put together, allowing us to truly enjoy the day without worry. Your ability to capture the little details (the one of me coming up the steps at the church LIKE WHAT!!!)  and the big moments alike means the world to us, and these photos will forever be cherished. You captured our crazy day beautifully.

Ugh, I am going to get a little sappy with this, and I don’t even know where to begin. You have given us something far beyond photos. You gave us a time capsule of a day that meant everything to us. It felt like it flew by and I have never felt more beautiful, more grounded, or more fully myself than I did through your lens. I seriously had no anxiety, and felt so sure about the whole thing. That magic is entirely yours because you can ask Rob, I’m usually a bit of an anxious mess. 

A little secret for you; x and I have both always felt a little un-photogenic. I usually shy away from the camera and he’s said the same. I even told him I was a bit nervous that I’d disappoint you by not being photogenic enough!  But honestly, like I said above, you made it feel easy and you made it feel like we were meant to be in front a camera. It felt honest and full of heart. You didn’t just take beautiful images. You captured every emotion and every ounce of magic that lived in that day. And I feel like there was A LOT of magic!!! 

Your kindness, your vision, and the calm joy you brought into the space carried us through. We trusted you fully and what you gave us in return was beyond anything we imagined. Each photo feels alive. It is us. It is our people. It is love, fun, softness, connection, and the moments we want to hold onto forever. These are pure art form. I cannot WAIT to print them. 

Thank you for showing up with your full heart, especially in a season that has been hard for you. We are endlessly grateful to have had you as our photographer and even more grateful to have you as part of our story. We promise, this isn’t the last you’ve seen of us!

I can't find the words to express how we felt waking up to our wedding photos this morning. While we knew you have an eye for beauty, we sure had no idea the extent of the beauty that you would bring to the light from our wedding day. As x and I are both people who tend to feel awkward and shy in front of the camera, we cannot say enough how grateful we are to have had someone like you, who made us feel comfortable and confident from the first day we started working with you. We are absolutely blown away by these photos, and are so excited to share and hold these memories close. I want to first thank you IMMENSELY for your presence at the wedding. Professional skills aside, having your level-headedness, calm aura & patience was more than I could have asked for. And secondly, the sneak peak: ARE YOU KIDDING. It brought tears to the eyes of EVERYONE who saw them. I know that when I look at these at mine and x’s 50th anniversary, I’ll remember exactly how I felt, how warm the sun was, how happy my heart was, because you captured more than I thought anyone would be able to. They were absolutely perfect, and I know the rest will be too. I can’t imagine having gone with anyone else to document this day.

Oh my goodness I am speechless. We waited to look at these photos with everyone sitting around the kitchen table.. we are in awe and crying all over again. You managed to capture the very essence of what our day felt like; fun, emotional, full of love & laughter and simply just magical. From the moment we met River we knew that she was special, so when we got engaged it was a no brainer when it came to choosing her to capture our special day.
